Vanilla Ice (Rob Van Winkle) is back performing his hit "Ice Ice Baby" on national television!... Say What!?  Yeah you read it right, national television.  But why would anyone have him on to do that song?  Well he has his new TV show to promote as well...

Vanilla appeared on Rachel Ray yesterday to talk about his new show on the DIY network.  The show, a reality TV endevour about remodeling and flipping homes, is called 'The Vanilla Ice Project'.  Vanilla surprisingly has experience both remodeling homes and working in televisi0n.  He is quoted as saying "I've been flipping homes for about 10 years."  Plus he is no stranger to reality TV, appearing on VH1's 'Surreal Life' in 2004.  You can check out his new show on DIY Thursday nights at 9pm.

If you want to watch Rachel Ray's interview of Vanilla for yourself check it out here:

You get to hear 3 fun facts that you probably didn't know about the white rapper gone punk rocker gone hardcore artist gone home remodeler.  You can also check out his performance of 'Ice Ice Baby' on the 'Rachel Ray Show' here:

Is he still relevant?  I stopped taking him seriously the minute he sang the hook "Go Ninja Go Ninja Go!"

And that is your Vanilla Ice update... ;) Hope you enjoyed!
