It's not uncommon for maps to lop off the Upper Peninsula or sever the Thumb, but this cloud cover map from Monday's eclipse just got rid of Michigan altogether.

And considering how little of the eclipse we saw, they were probably right to do so.

This photo was posted to several Michigan groups on Reddit Monday. In relaying information about the cloud cover anticipated for eclipse viewing, the artist forgot to include ANY of our state, instead leaving a sickening blank gash between Wisconsin and lower Ontario.

It's really sad to see. Our only solace is that Wisconsin is looking a little ill as well.

Who would do such a thing? Probably someone from Ohio.
