February 18 is National Drink Wine Day, and according to a recent study reported by USA Today, Millennials drink more wine than any other age group in the United States.

The study found that Millennials drank 42% of all wine sold in the USA this past year, with Baby Boomers coming in second place at 38%, and Gen Xers in third place with just 20% of total wine consumption.

According to USA Today,

The report found that millennials, defined as the 79 million Americans ages 21 to 38, drank 159.6 million cases of wine in 2015—an average of two cases per person... High frequency millennials drank 3.1 glasses of wine per sitting, the study found, also more than other generations.

So today, whether you're a Millennial, Gen Xer, Baby Boomer, or a completely different generation, today's your day to enjoy a glass (or 3.1 glasses, I don't judge, as long as you have a designated driver)!
