Trying To Have A Blast In Germany

A group of idiotic robbers ended up having a blast trying to rob an ATM at a German bank. The thieves had some pretty powerful explosives they were going to use in the attempt.

They just didn't know how to use them.

The "not so smart criminals" were hoping to create a blast just big enough to crack the ATM machine.

The Huffington Post reports that instead, they virtually destroyed the entire bank and even caused some pretty serious damage to nearby apartments and businesses.

The explosion was so large, it sent debris flying almost 1,000 feet from the ATM. While the full extent of the damage hadn't been calculated, but was estimated to be in the millions.

Amazingly, no one was hurt in the blast, but apartments located above the bank are now uninhabitable. Even more amazing, the thieves actually made off with some money. How much is yet to be determined.
