Victoria’s Secret Displays Odd MSU/Michigan Shirt

When it comes to Victoria's Secret, sometimes less is more...let me explain.

On Friday, CNBC's Darren Rovell discovered that Victoria's Secret had a green Michigan State University shirt for sale on their website that included the words "Spartans:  Hail To The Victors".  Oops. 

Michigan State is no stranger to odd uniforms, but "Hail to the Victors" belongs to rival University of Michigan.  The mistake has led to some discussion and speculation.

Is it offensive to MSU, Michigan, or neither?

Was it an honest mistake, a tricky publicity stunt, or was someone trying to be funny?

The Detroit News says that the shirt, which is no longer on Victoria Secret's website, would take you to the homepage when you clicked on it not to a larger image of the shirt.  This supports the idea that the whole thing may have been a stunt by Victoria's Secret.
