Last Sunday closed out the second weekend of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, Calif. Big name acts like the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Blur, Modest Mouse and Social Distortion shared the bill with bands that aren't as well known. Late night funnyman Jimmy Kimmel decided to have some fun with festival attendees that should have probably thought better than to pretend to be a music know-it-all.

As Gawker shares, Kimmel decided to bring his popular "Lie Witness News" segment to Coachella and test their knowledge of underground artists. In fact, these bands don't even exist as the segment host asked random hipsters about them.

One such too-cool-for-school outfit were the Get the F--k Out of My Pool. "I don't know any of their music but I heard from my friends that it's not something to miss, so I'm not going to miss it," says one avid music fan. One of the artists named is actually real, that being Irish indie rockers Two Door Cinema Club, but the album DJ Cornmeal is not. However, that didn't stop one Canadian from saying he loved it. Watch the entire clip below.

Some say that "Lie Witness News" was edited to make it look like the people interviewed were clueless and that their answers were about real artists. Without the host being onscreen to verify her questions were asked in real time, it's hard to say. Still, this was highly amusing to us.
