Ways to Score Bigger Tips as a Server
Loads of waiters and waitresses have posted pictures on Facebook and Instagram lately of reciepts from customers who have left them either epically horrible or awesome tips. Here are some tips for servers who wants to increase their tips.
1) Touch your customers. Servers who touched their customer's shoulders or hand tend to recieve bigger tips: Customers left an average of 2 percent higher of a tip when touched on the shoulder, and 5 percent higher when touched twice on the palm of hand.
2) Be Blonde. Blonde waitresses recieve larger tips than servers with any other hair color.
3) Draw a smiley face on the reciept, but only if you're a woman!!
