Wendy To Donate Her Hair To Children With Hair Loss – And You Can, Too!

Tomorrow morning at 9am, I'm going to sit in a chair and do something that's completely freaking me out. I'm going to cut off all of my hair and donate it to Children With Hair Loss, a charity that provides human hair replacements to children at no cost. It all goes down at Salon Nouveau on 29th St. in Grand Rapids, and if you want to help out the cause, you can, too!

You don't have to go as far as chopping off your long locks for the cause. Nope. There are lots of ways that you can help. Salon Nouveau will also be donating 100% off the proceeds of all of the salon services they provide between 9am and 2pm Wednesday to the charity. Maybe you need a trim? Need your highlights done? Want a new look for the holidays? They can do that for you, and you can help out Children With Hair Loss!

I was inspired to do this after hearing Jennifer Pascua from WZZM-13 talk about Stephanie Smereka - a talented singer and competitive swimmer, who graduated in the Top 10 of her class at East Kentwood and earned a president's scholarship to Hope College. Stephanie did all of those things while battling stage four metastatic rhabdomyosarcoma.
