It's the time of the week where I fall in love with yet another furry little friend.

This week, Carlita Gonzalez from the Humane Society of West Michigan brought Knight into the studios (with a name like that, I feel like he's meant to live at Joe Knight's house).

Knight is a 4 and a half year-old cat who was surrendered by his owners.  He’s super loving and needs a loving home.  Yours just might be the one.

For information on Knight, or any of the other adoption-ready pets at the Humane Society, just log on to Humane Society of West Michigan's website, or call 616-459-8900.

The Humane Society is also holding Pit Bull or Pit Bull mix Canine Good Citizen tests.  They hope that Pit Bull owners will bring their dog into the society for the “test” to help show that Pit Bulls aren't bullies at all, but sweet and well-mannered dogs.  It only costs $5!  It is also a fund raiser for the Society, who receive $150 from a grant if your dog passes the test.  All of the funds raised will go to help homeless Pit Bulls in their shelter.
