Wendy’s Top 10 Songs Of 2013 – No. 9: Avicii’s ‘Wake Me Up’ [Video]

Avicii is a band that burst onto the music scene out of nowhere this year.

Its debut single "Wake Me Up" quickly climbed the charts and helped make the band a household name.

The thing with "Wake Me Up" is that while it is a fantastic song, there's something about the video for the song that makes me love it even more. Maybe it's because it actually tells a story, instead of just showing random images and the members of the band singing and playing instruments. I think another aspect that I enjoy about the song, and Avicii in general, is that while the singer's voice is what I would consider "folk-y", there are parts of the song that you can definitely dance to -- unlike most folk-type music I listen to.
