Steve was talking about how he had recently found some musket balls in an old box in his basement and we were shocked when he said they were actually used at Gettysburg in 1863.  He bought them from the gift shop because he thought it was cool to own something that old.  That got us to thinking about how we could turn this into the text question of the day.  It was pretty easy, we would just ask you about the oldest thing you own!

TEXT QUESTION OF THE DAY:

  • I have a 6 chair dining room set from my grandparents when they died 9 years ago. I'm told the set is at least 100 years old however I haven't found any way to verify this. One of the chairs is a "captains" chair. It's the only one of the set that has armrests. Also, through a past job, I have acquired 2 porcelain plated license plates. One from 1913 and the other from 1914.
