What’s A Nickname You Have And Why? – #TQOTD

Yesterday we had someone text in and saw that their nickname was leaky because they cry all of the time.  We thought that was hilarious because it definitely makes you do a double take when someone says their name is leaky.  So we made nicknames the theme for today's #TQOTD.

What’s a nickname you have and why?

• Cookie, when I was a child( cuz I was sweet) Ferd (high school) instead of Ford Now! I think it's " HEY". A lot of people at work say that to me. Is that a nickname?
• Little Nanc. I'm named after my mom and old friends from years ago referred to me that way and it stuck.
• TQOTD: my nickname is TJ because of my first and middle initial.
• Sweet t, because I'm a b-word and my name starts with a T?
• Fresh scoop. I'm not proud of this, but a couple of years ago I was at the silver lake sand dunes and had to poop so bad...I went behind some beach grass and kicked sand over it like a cat 😂 😂 😂 When ya gotta go, ya gotta go! … I'm also known as dune pooper
• Nickname was half pint because every party or get together I would carry around a half pint of captain morgan so it stuck
• Scooter bc I never crawled I scooted on my butt lol
• One of my nicknames is 'Ghetto Booty'. My Wonderful friend Andrew gave me that nickname in highschool because I have a very plump booty for a white girl
• Trucker Joe because that's what fish calls me but my nickname is Twisted because of my sense of humor
• My nickname is Bamberlynn... when I was little... my mom would always try to call me over and went through the kid's names.. my sister starts with a B so it always came out Bamberlynn. And it stuck still to this day
• TOTD: Cat, my friends said because I was aloof and only wanted attention when I wanted it, and I walk softly. So soft when someone lived below me they even called me cat not knowing that was my legit nickname.
• Fish face. Because my last name is Fischer.
• Mango twango my last name was Mangus. My best friends dad started it. 28 years later my friends 4 year old calls me this.
• Velcro because I never left my mom's side. I want to know how fish got his name
• Hi guy!! My nickname is derburger because of a very convoluted story between my best friends and my impersonation of the hamburger scene in pink panther with Steve Martin.
• My nickname was Doodie. When I was really little, maybe 3-6 years old. I watched the Bozo show in Chicago (GR had a version too). There was a clown magician that when he did magic instead of "alakazam" he would chant doodie doodie doodie doodie. So I went around the house saying that all the time.
• Brat because I am the youngest of 4 kids in my family 😊 and I still am 😋
• Growing up, I was such a picky eater that all my parents could feed me was macaroni and cheese. I'm now known as Roni to my family. And to top it off, my daughter's names is Makenna, so my dad has graciously dubbed us Mac and Roni 😂
• My nickname bubble butt why my step brothers would call me that or some ppl I used to work with I'm a white girl with a big butt.😂😂
• Good morning! My name is Courtnay:) one of my nicknames is corn dog. I got this nickname from my lifelong friend.

• I've got a super weird nickname for you. Everyone who knows my dad knows his nickname for me....Babus (Babe-Us) Dads explanation for the nickname is that he couldn't call me Willis because I'm a girl and I was a baby so instead of Willis it was "Come on Babus!" When I was crying and wouldn't stop. He still calls me this. I'm 24. It's actually weird when he calls me Kimberlee....

• I was given the nickname Bumps...I was about 1 year learning to walk and I kept my eyes closed and walked into a wall...I only have one uncle to this day that can get away with calling me this still
• My freshman year of college up at NMU my buddies gave me the nickname of whiskers. They all had very manly beards but I couldn't grow facial hair to save my life.
• My nickname was Binkybadoza as my grandpa made up songs to sing to me and that word kept coming back up. My mom every so often will still call me, Doze.
• My nickname was tiger lily when I worked at a little hometown stake house. The girls at work gave me the nickname Bc no one could remember my name. Madi I know hard right lol But the boss got to the point where that's all she called me && all anyone else called me 😂 I did love the nickname tho
• My nickname is Bozo. My younger sister gave that nickname to me because I was and also show when I was 6 years old
• My dad used to call me Jabberjaws because I never stopped talking as a kid. I always had something to say
• #tqotd my nickname is Bubba my dads name is Doug as well and so is my uncle and cousin so a long time ago when I was 6 my dad buddy called me bubba cause I was a chubby kid and low and behold that name stuck here we are 30 years later and all of my friends and family still call me bubba except my wife who calls me oh lord oh fuck oh yeah 😉 lol
• #tqotd My nickname has always been Lisa Pizza. People don't even call me Lisa anymore just Pizza. Rando Texto: my husband and I watched Christmas Chronicles last night. I totally teared up but he did not.
• My nickname is Bernadette or Burn-e for short, I was moving into a new apartment my junior year of college and I hadn't met any of my new roommate yet, they couldn't remember what my name was so they named me Bernadette, when I showed up to move in they had written on the front door, welcome to club Randy Bernadette, I was like man I wonder who Bernadette is, this place sounds lit, oh it's me, I'm Bernadette... Lol, it stuck, in fact there were some people in college that didn't know my real name lol
• My nickname was bubbles for a while. When I was about 19/21ish I played on a coed softball team with a bunch of older (well, I their early 30s at the time) guys. I have no idea why the power Puff girls came up, but one of the girls was bubbles...and that is what I was called by those guys and if I run into any of them now, that's still the name they call me. Needless to say, I got many comments about the name....all in good fun
• #tqotd! My childhood nickname is Chuckie because I'm a ginger, and my siblings cakes me Chuckie - as in the Child's Play Chuckie. Currently? It's Brimmy, but that's a super long story
• Hungry Hunter because I hunt obsessively but went 8 years before I got anything. Turned around and used it to start my own YouTube channel- Hodge the Hungry Hunter. LOL!
• Good morning guys love ur show my kid's and I listen 2 it every day!! My name is Melissa so my nickname has always been Missy but my grandma always called me Mitsey! We gave my daughter the nickname stinky cuz when she was a baby her poop was soooo bad LOL

• My nickname in school was Chi chi Whale. Let me break it down: Chi chi was given to me by the Spanish speaking kids because I was well endowed in jr high. Whale started because my. My last name was Wall and a substitute was calling roll and said Sue Whale on accident. Thenceforth I was known as chi chi whale.
• for the text question of the day: when I was about 6 or 7, I ended up trying to give myself bangs. let's just say that I'll never be a professional hairdresser. to this day I have a patch of hair that just won't grow back right.....that's not the only thing. I also shaved parts of my eyebrows off.....i was a messed up kid. And that's how I got the nickname patches :) have a great day you guys!!!
