West Michigan is under a Wind Advisory this evening (Sunday) as winds up to 50 m.p.h. are expected.

The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for West Michigan until Midnight, Sunday. Winds will start to calm down, but not before we see some damage and power outages.

According to MLive, around 100 reports of downed trees have come in across the state.  Around 9,700 residents were without power this afternoon as wind knocked down power lines and even cause a couple grass fires.

Including the cities of Ludington, Baldwin, Reed City, Clare,
