When you're out shopping at your local supermarket, how about adding just a few extra items?  It's not difficult and it would mean the world to so many middle school students this coming school year.

The 4th Annual Stuff the Bus campaign is on through August 9th, thanks to Amway, Fifth Third Financial Centers, and Meijer, and hopes to collect Soap, Socks and Supplies for about 3,000 middle school students from the Grand Rapids, Kentwood, Wyoming, Godfrey Lee, Jenison and Hudsonville schools.

This year, the need is specific.  We need new spiral-bound notebooks, No. 2 pencils and pens, as well as personal items such as socks and bar soap.

All of the collections will be at Fifth Third Bank locations throughout the Greater Grand Rapids metro area through August 9th.

Each year Fifth Third supplies the backpacks for the students, Amway supplies personal care products, and Meijer makes sure no student goes without school supplies.

Stuff the Bus makes a real difference for kids in need, so we need your support.  If you're not able to do the extra shopping, cash donations will cheerfully be accepted.
