In a word, no! But, man, it sounds weird enough that I wish it were true.

The satirical web site Snickersee played a Halloween prank on Grand Rapids by writing a fake news piece on a pop up restaurant based on the 1991 film 'Silence of the Lambs' coming to GR in Spring of 2020.

And while that sounds immensely creepy, I kinda want it to happen.

Customers of Buffalo Bill’s can expect menu items such as liver, that is served with some fava beans, and a nice chianti. Foodies will also enjoy other Hannibal inspired creations on the menu as well. The kids menu will include Buffalo Burgers.

There will be several Silence Of The Lambs activities for entertainment within the pop up. Including being able to speak to an actor dressed as Hannibal Lecter through a plate glass window.

For hardcore fans of the film, customers will be put in a pit while an actor yells, “It puts the lotion in the basket”, for an added charge.

This reminded me of the prank musical based on the movie from back in 1998 called Silence!, which featured messed up songs like this:
