After hitting the lowest level since mid-December last week, reports of flu-like symptoms in the latest report have climbed up once again.

Reports of flu-like symptoms at hospitals and clinics have remained close to steady over the past 4 weeks with small increases and decreases over that time. That pattern continues this week with a slight increase of reports in West Michigan and across the state as a whole.

The percentage of visits to hospitals and clinics which were for flu-like symptoms in the "Central" region (which includes West Michigan) was 3.0%.  The rate for the state as a whole was 3.5% in last weeks report from the Michigan Department of Community Health.
