Just earlier this week we told you about the GRPS survey which asks the public to help them identify what they should be looking for in the next GRPS Superintendent.  Current Superintendent Bernard Taylor is set to remain with GRPS through the rest of this school year.  That may change.  Taylor is up for another job.

WZZM reports:

Grand Rapids school superintendent Dr. Bernard Taylor is seeking another job in Florida -- this time in Palm Beach County.

Taylor is listed as one of two applicants to become the next chief of the School District of Palm Beach County.

The district's website says Palm Beach County has the fifth largest school district in Florida, and the 11th largest in the U.S.

Taylor was also up for jobs in Cleveland, Syracuse, and Florida's Broward County Schools.
