Ryan Reynolds Says His Friendship With Taylor Swift Is His ‘Greatest Achievement’
Ryan Reynolds is a full-blown Swiftie. And can you blame him?
In a new interview with ScreenCrush, Reynolds and his IF director John Krasinski were playfully roasted about their new movie, upcoming projects and respective friendships in Hollywood.
When asked if his friendship with Swift is indeed real, Reynolds gushed, "Proud to say, yeah."
"I would say that that's like kind of the greatest achievement one could ever reach. Those are the empyrian heights of friendship and achievement if you ask me," the Deadpool star shared.
"I haven't even met her but my kids met her and that was the greatest achievement of my life," Krasinski added of the pop superstar.

During the interview both Reynolds and Krasinski were also asked about their connections to the MCU.
"I had signed an eight-year deal and they said, 'If you look at the camera one more damn time...' And I did, and they broke it off," Krasinski joked when asked if he's no longer playing Marvel characters due to him constantly looking directly at the camera while filming — a reference to his The Office character Jim.
The actor briefly played a variant of Reed Richards, a.k.a. superhero Mister Fantastic of the Fantastic Four, in the 2022 movie Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Meanwhile, Reynolds was asked about his role alongside Hugh Jackman in the "new Wolverine movie."
"I call this movie Wolverine 10, not Deadpool 3," the actor joked.
"I walked into my apartment about two months ago and my kids were dancing and singing to The Greatest Showman, and Hugh was there and Hugh was doing it as well while they were watching the movie. He was acting it all out in front of them so they could look at the movie and look at them, and I realized these kids have no idea how lucky they are," Reynolds added.
IF is currently playing in theaters nationwide.
Deadpool & Wolverine hits theaters on July 26.
