New Mexican Coffee Shop, Restaurant Opens in Grand Rapids Area

The Grand Rapids area is welcoming a new coffee shop and eatery in the new year!

Corazón De Café (which translates to "Heart of Coffee") is located at 1735 28th St. SW in Wyoming.

The new restaurant officially opened January 1, 2025.

On the menu you'll find a variety of drinks like coffee, espresso, atole (hot masa-based beverage), and champurrado (chocolate-based atole).

Corazón De Café serves up sweet and savory treats too, including ice cream, waffles, pancakes, churros, bagels, paninis, tortas, tamales, tacos, elote dishes, nachos, and more.

Featured on the restaurant's Facebook page is a giant concha -  a traditional Mexican sweet bread roll  with a crunchy topping - paired with a huge mug of coffee.

The new eatery is open seven days a week, 10a.m. to 9p.m.
