Having worked at a diner in high school, small-town, hidden-gem restaurants have a special place in my heart. Cousins' Family Restaurant in South Haven served everything from meatloaf to burgers to blueberry pancakes, but if you ask me, the real star was the breakfast!

This cash-only, tiny diner has been around for over a century, tucked into a narrow storefront with counter seating and only a handful of tables. Breakfast is served any time of day—pancakes, French toast, customizable three-egg omelets, bacon, sausage, and more. The prices are right too, as all breakfasts are $9 or less!
