Specifically, Lovefood praises the Beef Frita. It's a beef patty, topped with shoestring fries and sweet chili mayo on a soft egg bun. You can load it up with cheese, bacon, egg, salsa, tropical slaw, jalapeños, and avocado spread.

Aside from beef, burger options include chorizo, black bean, chicken, or fish.

So now you know that "Frita" is a Cuban hamburger, what about "Batida"? It's a tropical Cuban milkshake! The restaurant combines fresh fruit, ice, and vanilla bean ice cream for their batidas.

On the menu you'll also find salads, bowls, and sides like loaded plantains, black beans, and shoestring fries.

For dessert, pick from churros or cinnamon sugar plantains. Seasonally, they offer Paletas as well, which are inspired by Latin popsicles.

Frita Batido's is located at 117 W Washington St. in Ann Arbor. The restaurant has another location at 66 W Columbia St. in Detroit.

The restaurant also has an airstream trailer that travels around the state.
