DoorDash became very popular when COVID-19 hit, and people couldn't leave their homes. It was also a job of choice when many lost theirs because of shutdowns.

DoorDash drivers average between $15 and $20 per hour based on their hourly pay and tips. If a driver is in a high-demand area, they can make up to $30 per hour. It is not an easy job, it takes considerable effort to make good money.

DoorDash provides a chance for you to be your own boss. Being your own boss doesn't give you the right to someone else's tips.

Michigan DoorDash Driver On Camera Stealing Restaurant Tip Jar

A Michigan DoorDash driver was waiting for a restaurant worker to bring out an order for her delivery service. While no one was looking, she thought she would help herself to some cash from the tip jar.

According to WXYZ, a security camera caught the Michigan woman taking tips from a Cottage Inn Pizza in Lake Orion. The DoorDash driver didn't know a security camera was watching her every move.

The woman was texting while taking money out of one tip jar. Shortly after, an accomplice came in, and then she handed him a second tip jar. Check out the video here from WXYZ.
