Mystery Of Plane Crash Psychic Says Happened Near Mt. Pleasant

A plane crash happened near Mount Pleasant, Michigan, in 1977, but the plane has never been found. An old newspaper article based on a psychic's claim has renewed public interest in finding the missing plane.

In 1977, a Cessna 150J was flying from Detroit towards Lost Creek Sky Ranch, which is located between Luzerne and Mio in Northern Michigan. Lost Creek Sky Ranch used to be an entertainment destination and lodge. The property is currently up for sale.

A plane carrying John and Jean Block vanished near Mount Pleasant, Michigan, and their green and white Cessna 150J has never been found. Searches for the plane have taken place for decades. There have been requests of hunters and outdoor enthusiasts if they have stumbled across the crashed plane to no avail.

The couple and the plane vanished on July 4, 1977 and the crash site is believed to be in the dense Huron or Atlanta State Forests, possibly in Isabella County.

A recent post on the Mount Pleasant Townie Talk Facebook page, showed an old newspaper from August 16, 1977, stating a psychic claims airplane crashed near Mt. Pleasant. The post points out that the family is still searching for their parents and for closure.

The post suggested that modern day technology like Google Earth and social media could help solve the mystery of the missing plane.

If you think you can find the plane, here are the areas to search on Google Earth: according to the psychic, the areas around Mount Pleasant, and the dense Huron or Atlanta State Forests, possibly in Isabella County. With the rain getting rid of the snow, it might be easier to look now, or wait to spring when the snow is completely gone.
