What Is The Whisker Room?

Opening soon at 926 Second St. (in the former Drip Drop Drink space), The Whisker Room will be Muskegon's very first cat café. It’s more than just a cozy place to sip a latte and snuggle adoptable cats—it's a community-focused project with a bigger mission.

A Mission That Goes Beyond Coffee

The café is an extension of Arc of the Lakeshore, a local nonprofit that supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. True to their motto, “Where cats find homes and people find purpose,” The Whisker Room will create meaningful job opportunities while also helping cats from Big Lake Humane Society find their forever families.

How to Visit and What It Costs

Online reservations for cat cuddle sessions will open soon. Pricing will vary slightly depending on the day:

• Tuesday–Thursday: $6 for 30 minutes, $10 for one hour
• Friday–Saturday: $7 for 40 minutes, $12 for one hour

Private parties will also be available—perfect for birthdays or low-key gatherings with feline-loving friends.

When Will Muskegon's Cat Café Open?
