New flavors and fresh concepts are always finding their way inside the market’s walls, adding to its already diverse lineup of spots to eat, shop, and enjoy.

Since opening in 2013 at 435 Ionia Ave. SW, the Downtown Market has become home to dozens of local restaurants and artisan food vendors. Beyond the daily bites, it also houses a commercial kitchen that helps food start-ups get off the ground and hosts community events throughout the year. From vintage pop-ups to handmade craft fairs—and the always-popular Christkindl Markt—which returns soon, there’s always something happening at the market.

So what's new at Grand Rapids Downtown Market? Let's start with something sweet!
