Not So Happily Ever After: Couple Allegedly Kill Groomsman
Weddings and receptions can get ugly thanks to alcohol but a groom and bride allegedly killing a groomsman at the wedding is another level.
Happily Ever After
What is "Happily Ever After?" The phrase "Happily Ever After" is an idiom that means to live happily for the rest of one's life, especially in a romantic relationship.
Many times someone will decorate the back of the car the bride and groom drive off in with the phrase "Happily Ever After" on a sign or written on the window as they leave the wedding for the reception.
Most everyone has heard of a wedding or a reception where something happens that is a spoiler for the event. From a family or friend not being happy with someone and a confrontation breaks out or someone drinking too much booze and a fight breaks out or worse. Up until today, I had never heard of a groom and bride allegedly murdering a groomsman on the night of their wedding.

Michigan Couple Allegedly Kill Groomsman on Night of Their Wedding
At most weddings, the groom is in a tuxedo the bride is in her beautiful wedding gown and a photographer follows them around all day capturing all the happy moments on film to look at for a lifetime.
A Michigan couple went from a tuxedo and wedding dress to jailhouse jumpsuits the night of their wedding.
According to WZZM, a Flint Michigan couple has been arrested for allegedly running over a groomsman with an SUV on their wedding night. Police arrested 22-year-old James Shirah and 21-year-old Savahna Collier for the alleged death of 29-year-old Terry Lewis Taylor Jr.
There was an alleged argument that took place after the wedding that allegedly led the groom, Shirah, to drive an SUV at a high rate of speed and intentionally hit the groomsman who died at the hospital.
The groom was charged and held without bond for 2nd-degree murder while the bird was charged with accessory after the fact.
I guess you can say the couple will not live happily ever after.
