I do remember a fart back in high school that my friend Matt cut in a car was so bad we had to pull over so our other friend Mike could puke but I never want to smell that smell again. Recently, a poster on the Michigan Reddit page asked if there are some smells that remind you of growing up in Michigan.
I can relate to the post above when I would ride my Harley to work in the spring and could smell the new flowers blooming reminds me of a Michigan spring, except when driving by the dump in Pierson.
Reddit poster "ElburroEsparkilo" had several other good lines like "Snowmobile and power auger exhaust mixing at an ice fishing festival."

Not sure I want to smell fudge making and horses making fudge but I'm sure there are many who have smelt it if they have been to the island.
Oh my gosh, I know that smell because I grew up in Holly.
Probably a pretty common smell for those who grew up near the Kellogg's factory.
There's probably a bad joke to insert here but I will move on.
I know that smell very well in Newaygo County. I live in smelling distance of two campgrounds.
