Her name is Chris. Chris A, to be exact, and if you have ever been to the Beltline Bar, who hasn't, you have probably crossed paths with Chris.

47-years is monumental. Who stays with one business for that long anymore? Chris did, loyal to the core.
In the past, it seemed as if people would find a job and stay there. They would stay 20, 30 years maybe. But today, it does seem as if people are job hopping more. For a younger generation, you may even be expected for you to move on, grow, every three to five years because maybe growth for you isn't with your current company.
For Chris, things were different. She loved people and her job and was able to make her customers happy. What's not to like here?
So many people, hundreds of customers and fellow employees, have been writing Facebook messages of congratulation to Chris.
Posts like, "you're our favorite," "I've been coming in for 40-years and Chris was always there." "I always asked for Chris' section when I came in. She's the best." And from a fellow employee, "this makes me even emotional for you! You certainly were a rock star the seven years I spent alongside annoying you!"
So many loving and caring words because Chris was a part of their lives.
District manager, Eddie, put it best:
"They just don’t make them like that anymore.' She will be deeply missed but will always be a part of the Beltline Bar family."
Happy retirement to Chris A.
