Michigan Girl Shovels Record Snowfall to Make Her Music Dream Come True
Molly Escherich is her name, living in the Upper Peninsula, near the Soo, and she has a dream. She loves music and is determined to follow that dream as far as she can.
What determination! What guts to want to get into such a tough business!

How will she get there? Well, one way to jump start her wish is to be able to attend Interlochen Center for the Arts, near Traverse City.
INTERLOCHEN SUNSET
Interlochen Fine Arts Camp hosts aspiring artists and performers annually and presents over 600 performances by students, faculty and famed guests artists. It's an amazing place providing an amazing education since their graduates have won 146 Grammy Awards, 32 Tony Awards, 26 Emmy Awards, & 3 Academy Awards.
Well, that is exactly what Molly will be shooting for as she was just accepted to Interlochen Summer Camp with hopes of being accepted to the boarding school.
That, however, is just one aspect of how far Molly will go to pursue her passions. This winter she shoveled show in hopes of earning enough for more and better equipment for when she performs around the Eastern UP.
The Sooleader.com website wrote that 13-year old Molly began shoveling snow, and they have a lot of it in the U.P., to earn money for a bigger and better amp.
People heard about it and a good hearted person, Mark Engelhardt, donated a snow blower to make her job a little easier, and she sure can make more money blowing snow rather than shoveling it to get that new amp.
By-the-way. What kid does this? Many would just ask for money in hopes mom and dad would pay for it, but not Molly. She's doing it "my way!"
She has been performing around the area for some time and people from all over come to hear her sing and play.
But for now, her dream has come true to be accepted at Interlochen Summer Camp, and hopefully to the full boarding school.
