Gretchen Whitmer May Be About To Ban All Cell Phones In Schools In Michigan
I personally can’t imagine the pressure and stress that school kids feel now nowadays. Because of the digital age that we live in, there is so much pressure from society and through social media to be a certain way, that it has to put anxiety for school kids to the max.
One way that we can come back to this is by limiting the ability of these kids in schools to cyberbully each other. Cyberbullying has been a huge issue and the government has been trying to find ways to combat it and make it less of a problem.

Governor Gretchen Whitmer is doing her part to try and introduce legislation that would strongly restrict phone use in grade school in Michigan.
In fact, the most lenient grades that would still have limited access our middle school ages. But it’s very possible this could eventually lead to a complete ban on cell phones and schools:
If signed into law, the legislation would limit cell phone use for students at various grade levels. Middle schoolers would be allowed to use phones only before morning bell and after the afternoon bell, while high school students would be allowed to use their phones in the cafeteria and before or after school hours.
A recent report from WWMT highlighted Gretchen Whitmer’s State of the State address from Wednesday where she eventually did urge lawmakers to pass legislation to limit the amount of access that kids have to cell phones in schools.
Do you think this will be a wise idea and help solve the issue of cyberbullying and distractions online?
