Jelly Roll made an appearance in Michigan this past Friday, May 26th, at the Greenhouse of Walled Lake.

The event was free to attend, however, guests had to get a wristband in advance. As you can imagine, those wristbands were a hot commodity.

Jelly Roll was in Michigan to promote his new line of marijuana called Bad Apple and treat fans to a listening party. The artist has a new album, Whitsitt Chapel, dropping on Friday, June 2nd.

Fans in attendance got a lot more than that - according to the Detroit Free Press, Jelly Roll also hit the stage for an acoustic set too.

As you will see in the video above, Jelly Roll is a big fan of Michigan's own Eminem. He talked about the fact that he and the famous rapper are both 'white-trash kids' and his love for Eminem's vulnerability in his lyrics.

Jelly Roll also praised Michigan for its marijuana with the following quote,

'Michigan’s got some of the best weed in the United States. There’s no other way to say it. And trust me, I’ve smoked everywhere'
