If you plan on traveling outside of Michigan in 2025 and taking a plane to get there, there are a few things to watch out for. The number one thing to check is whether any of the current TSA or airline rules have changed.

Before heading to the airport, you should always know what you can and can't bring onto a plane. Like, TSA limits you to one quart-sized bag for liquids, gels, and aerosols. All containers have to be 3.4 ounces or less and fit in that one bag. If your liquids exceed the allowed amount, you’ll be forced to throw them away right there on the spot. Not only is it a hassle, but it can also be a little embarrassing.

When airlines change their rules occasionally, it usually causes travelers inconvenience. However, some airlines are making changes that we think most passengers will love.

You may find this hard to believe, but some people actually like to travel barefoot. In most cases, I've seen them kick off their shoes and socks as soon as they get to their seats. They sit there with their gross feet on the gross floor of the airplane. In case you didn't know, airplanes are extremely dirty and rarely get a thorough cleaning before the next flight.

Well, good news! American and United Airlines are finally cracking down on going barefoot during flights. Passengers are now required to keep their shoes on. Technically, you can still take your shoes off if you're wearing socks, but please don't. It's still gross.

Delta, Spirit, and a few others have also banned going barefoot on flights.
