One Michigan man could face the ultimate penalty for allegedly exposing himself in public. Yes, life behind bars. I know what you're thinking. That seems a bit harsh for a nonviolent crime. Maybe it is, and in this case, it's very rare.

Let's break down this disturbing story.

A 31-year-old Bay City man could end up with a life sentence for allegedly exposing himself in public on more than one occasion. That’s what takes this from super weird to serious.

According to MLive, the 31-year-old is facing two counts of aggravated indecent exposure and one count of being a sexually delinquent person. That’s basically a rare label under Michigan law that could get him anything from a day in jail to life in prison.

The first time this all came up was one early morning at a 7-Eleven, where the man was reportedly having a field day with himself in his car. Employees called the cops, but he took off before they showed up.

Then, just a week later, at the same spot he’d been busted back in 2017, he was allegedly at it again, this time in a Save A Lot parking lot, just sitting in his car, going at it with himself.

Since this isn’t his first time getting caught, the law’s not cutting him any slack. He’s facing multiple charges, including one that’s super rare and carries a possible sentence anywhere from a single day to life in prison.

Honestly, I highly doubt a judge would actually give him life for this, but he’ll probably do some time and hopefully get some kind of help while he’s at it.

He’s due back in court in June.

So, who do you call? If you hit one of these animals, you’ll want to contact the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (DNR) or local law enforcement. If it’s an actual emergency, call 911; otherwise, just dial the non-emergency number. They’ll handle the situation and make sure everything's squared away. Just don’t forget to report it.
