According to Scoob The Artist, the creator of The Trauma Project, the goal was to "break this silence and initiate a dialogue that promotes healing and growth."

"The Trauma Project takes viewers on a transformative journey, starting from a place of darkness and trauma, and guiding them towards a path of light and resilience."

Scoob The Artist teamed up with more than 20 Grand Rapids artists to make this experience that ArtPrize has never seen before possible.

"Through a series of 16 paintings, I have collaborated with local artists who bring their unique perspectives and talents to the project. Each painting is accompanied by a customized track created by these artists, which adds an additional layer of emotional depth to the visual experience."

At the official ArtPrize closing ceremony on Friday, September 28th, "The Trauma Project" was announced as the winner of this year's Juried Vote Awards Grand Prize.
