Wednesday is my favorite day of the week. Why? Because every Wednesday the Humane Society of West Michigan stops by and brings me a new friend.

Today, Marley stopped by to visit!

Marley is a handsome four-year-old Staffordshire-Terrier dog looking for a good home.

Marley, unofficialy is a Staffordshire-Terrier, also known as Amstaff. He is a medium-sized, short-coated American dog breed.

According to the American Kennel Club, the "Am Staff is a people-oriented dog that thrives when he is made part of the family and given a job to do. Although friendly, this breed is loyal to his own family.Their life expectancy is generally 12 years with good care."

You can get all the information on Marley and adopting by visiting the Humane Society’s website or by calling (616) 453-8900.

Heather also mentioned that the second Monday of every month is Vaccination Monday at the Humane Society. This coming Monday, March 9, it will again offer reduced-fee vaccinations for all pets from low-income households. You can get complete details on qualifications on the Humane Society's website.
