For over half a century children have been playing with dolls that are unrealistically proportioned. Traditional Barbies have arched feet, ultra-thin bodies and platinum blonde hair. No longer say the common people!

Designer Nickolay Lamm is hoping to change all that by making a doll that reflects the beauty in the normal women (and average is rarely average). Nickolay hopes to show children a vision of a women who has lived her life. Her name is "Lammily" and she has the proportions of the average 19 year old women.

Nickolay has also made blemish stickers to add to "Lammily" to let children customize the dolls in a variety of real life body types.

You can check out a couple of videos on "Lammily" below
