Police are currently in a standoff at a home Northeast of Greenville.

According to WOOD, Michigan State Police have surrounded a home and trying to get a person to come out and surrender.

The incident that is going on now is on Miller Road near Muskrat Troad in Sidney Township. People are advised to stay away from the area until police have the situation cleared.

A SWAT team has been brought in to help with the situation.

Police are saying they believe the suspect is armed and refusing to leave the home.

According to the MSP, the suspect is wanted on outstanding felony warrants. Police have not mentioned what the warrants are for and what crimes have previously been committed.

So far that have been no injuries and lets hope that it stays that way.
