British pop, rock and R&B band Rixton has announced its May tour of three U.S. cities in May.

The band made its U.S. debut with release of its "Me and My Broken Heart" EP, with the track cracking the Billboard Top 40 pop chart and set to be performed on NBC's "The Today Show" on May 28 at Rockefeller Center in New York.

Rixton debuted its new music and performed songs from "Me And My Broken Heart" EP late last month at Lucky Strike Bowling Alley in Hollywood, Calif. The band has also made an appearance on MTV.

Hailing from Manchester, United Kingdom, Rixton is comprised of lead singer and rhythm guitarist Jake Roche, bass/keys, backing vocalist Danny Wilkin, lead guitarist and backing vocalist Charley Bagnall and drummer Lewi Morgan.

Roche and Wilkin started writing together three years ago. A couple years ago, they were introduced to Bagnall through mutual friends and stumbled on Lewi in a back alley of a Manchester pub (playing pots and pans) and asked him to join the band.

The band gained a YouTube following with re-imagined covers of tracks including Taylor Swift's "Trouble," Rita Ora's "How We Do (Party)," Chris Brown's "Don't Wake Me Up" and R. Kelly's "Ignition," catching the ear of talent manager Scooter Braun.

Working with Grammy Award-winning producer Benny Blanco, Rixton is set to deliver its debut album on School Boy/Giant Little Man/Mad Love/Interscope Records later this year.
