Thanks to everyone who came out to Making Strides Against Breast Cancer and Bras Across the Grand Saturday morning! The rain mostly held off, and we had a fabulous time raising awareness and funds to end breast cancer alongside you as we walked the streets of Grand Rapids. Check out some photos from the day!

On Thursday, October 22, the American Cancer Society will bring “The Decades,” a “way cool” evening event to raise money in the fight against cancer to Grand Rapids for the first time. The event will be held at the JW Marriott in Grand Rapids and is led by honorary chair Meg Goebel of the Paul Goebel Group.

You can show your support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month across West Michigan today by making a donation to the American Cancer Society - and decorating a bra. Local businesses and organizations are accepting donations and letting people decorate the garments Wednesday for the Bras Across the Grand display, which will go up across the Grand River later this month as part of the American Cancer

Thank you to everyone who braved the sometimes weird weather today to come out to Bras Across The Grand 2013! Channel 957, The American Cancer Society, Mercy Health, and all of you helped to hang nearly 400 bras across the Grand River and we honored 70 survivors!

If you've been down Jefferson Street in Downtown Grand Rapids over that last couple of days and thought you spotted a giant, pink, polka-dotted bra, you are not crazy, it really is there! This past Saturday was the 3rd annual Bras Across The Grand, an amazing event that benefits the American Cancer Society while also celebrating survivors of breast cancer. The Gillett Pedestrian Bridge was a sea of people, pink, and of course, beautifully decorated bras as far as the eye could see. It really was a sight to behold. Channel 95-7 is gearing up for the third annual Bras Across The Grand, Satuday, October 20th at the Gillette Pedestrian Bridge in downtown Grand Rapids! While preparing for the event, I came across a gallery of photos from last year's Bras Across The Grand. Check them out after the jump!
