Comedian, actor, writer, producer, and director Aziz Ansari is bringing his “Road to Nowhere” Tour to Grand Rapids!

This past weekend saw Master of None star Aziz Ansari seemingly added to the #MeToo movement after an account surfaced of the comedian’s repeated attempts to proposition a date for sex. Now, Ansari has issued a statement largely corroborating the account, and adding “I took her words to heart.”

Jimmy Kimmel will host the show, which is set for Sunday, September 18 on ABC.

Netflix and Aziz Ansari’s Master of None more than lived up to expectations, providing one of 2015's most beloved comedies, leaving many to question the lack of an official second season. Ansari himself reveals that they’d love to do more, but may need time to fill up the well creatively.

We're used to great comedy here in West Michigan. Of course, there's a constant parade of great, hilarious talent streaming through Dr. Grins Comedy Club in the B.O.B., and we have Laughfest every spring, but a different venue is bringing in a huge act within the next couple of weeks. "Parks And Recreation's" Aziz Ansari is by far one of my favorite actors out there. His character, Tom, on Parks & Rec is so obnoxious that he's funny. So, I was pretty pumped to run across this gallery of rap albums with Aziz's face photo-shopped onto them.

'30 Minutes or Less' was shot in Grand Rapids last August.  The movie, which stars Jesse Eisenberg, Aziz Ansari, Danny McBride, and Nick Swardson, opens nationwide August 12.  It had a special Grand Rapids premiere last night.
