Imagine getting a ticket in the mail and seeing that you got it from a bus?! That technology could be coming soon...

As of February 28th you will no longer be able to use the paper tickets to pay to ride The Rapid. Instead the option to pay is either cash or a electronic fare system called the Wave card.

The Rapid says they'll adjust again if necessary.

Among the changes, riders paying with cash will no longer receive free transfers and those without exact change will not receive change cards.
