Cougar Sightings On the Rise In Michigan
The Michigan Department of Natural Resources has confirmed ten sightings of cougars, also known as pumas or mountain lions so far this year. They have been seen in the Upper Peninsula.
Cougars Are Gaining Numbers In Michigan
The news comes after last year there were 14 confirmed sightings in the state.
DNR Testing Explains Where Michigan’s Cougars Came From
Since 2008, the Michigan DNR has confirmed 35 cougar reports in the Upper Peninsula. Now we know where those cougars came from.
No reports have been confirmed in Lower Michigan.
