This Saturday will mark the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks on America that killed nearly 3,000 Americans. Events will be held in remembrance across the country, including here in West Michigan with the Memorial Stair Climb at LMCU Ballpark.
A Michigan-based charity, which claimed to be giving support to firefighters and victims of fire, passed along less than 10 percent of donations received. They did not offer any food, shelter, or clothing to families burned out of their homes.
The charity has agreed to cease operations.

As the 10-year anniversary of 9/11 approaches, there are many ways to remember those who were lost. This Sunday at 8:00am people will gather at the Amway Grand for the 9/11 Stair Climb to remember the 343 firefighters who were killed on 9/11/01.
