Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park

The volunteers at Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park have been hard at work decorating for the annual Metro Health Christmas & Holiday Traditions exhibition! This year they are taking a closer look at all things "handmade" and this exhibition takes many hands to make it beautiful.

A ribbon cutting ceremony will celebrate the reopening at the main entry garden.

It’s the last weekend in February, plus we get to celebrate Leap Day! We have everything from Disney on Ice to Tubing, Comedy and Beer, Basketball to Butterflies, Runs, Comedy and more!

It’s the final weekend of the year 2019! There are still many Christmas themed activities. There are also a lot of things going on at the area museums. It’s also your last chance to get your FREE General Admission tickets forthe Grand Rapids Ball Drop on New Year’s Eve.

It’s the final weekend before Christmas. That means there are many Christmas, Chanukah, and Winter related activities this weekend. We also have more tickets for the Grand Rapids Ball Drop on New Year’s Eve. And, if you want to travel back to the 80’s for a few hours...there are a couple of events to do just that!

It’s a long Thanksgiving weekend for most people. We have events on Thanksgiving day and all weekend long. We have Christmas lights and traditions, a Turkey Trot, Hockey & Basketball, Music, Model Trains, and Tickets for New Year’s Eve.

It’s the first weekend of November. Don’t forget to “Fall Back” this Saturday night/Sunday morning as Daylight Saving Time ends on at 2:00 am on Sunday, November 3rd (We “Spring Forward” again on Sunday, March 8th, 2020). It’s also a good time to check those batteries in your smoke detectors. We have lots of comedy, music, holistic healers, nature, a .1K run (that’s about a block!), a cancer benefit for Jay Allen, KIDZ BOP, and a holiday gift show!

There are a couple of reasons to wear red this weekend...Pulaski Days and the Red Flannel Festival. It’s also the final Friday for the Food Trucks at Riverside Park. There’s theater, comedy, a chance to run on the runway at the airport, a Donut Fest, small trees and flowers, a Pumpkin Train, and an event for you and the dog.

It’s Labor Day Weekend! We have a Gaming Convention, Dinosaurs, Toys, Food Trucks, a Rad American Women Walk, Comedy, Flowers, Free Pinball, Walking the Mac Bridge, and a Laborfest. Get out and enjoy the holiday weekend!

There are a couple of county fairs running this weekend We also have Live Music, Records & CDs, Flowers, Lions, and Dinosaurs!

This Saturday is the Amway Riverbank Run. Sunday is Mother’s Day! Along with that, we have the Tulip Festival, West Michigan Whitecaps baseball, food trucks, Alice in Wonderland, Star Wars, comedy, a nature walk, and bonsai trees.

We have butterflies, spring break, hockey, boxing, comedy, antique toys, model trains, records & CDs, and country music. Something for everyone this weekend!
