The Grand Rapids Police Department is asking for help identifying two people suspected of defacing the grave sites of President Gerald R. Ford and First Lady Betty Ford.

In honor of those who sacrificed their lives during the terrorist events of Sept. 11, 2001, the exhibit 9/11: A Day That Changed America, on loan from the 9/11 Memorial Museum in New York City, and a rescue vehicle used following the attacks, on loan from the Henry Ford Museum, will be on display at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum in downtown Grand Rapids.

The ArtPrize entry helps to educate and raise awareness of the problem of human trafficking through multiple experiences inside of a 40-foot storage container.
"The Scarlet Cord" has been found in the public's Top 25 under the Installation category.
A government shutdown occurred at midnight this morning, and today it has people wondering how it's going to affect their lives until this whole thing gets sorted out. Turns out ArtPrize isn't the only way to gain free admission to multiple Grand Rapids museums on the same day.
'Museums Free 4 All' was announced this morning at the Grand Rapids Children's Museum. 'Museums Free 4 All' will give all visitors free admission to the Grand Rapids Children's Museum, Grand Rapids Art Museum, Grand Rapids Public Museum, and Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum.

Grand Rapids remembered September 11, 2001 today with a Scout Salute at Gerald R. Ford Museum.
The September 11 Scout Salute at Gerald R. Ford Museum has been an annual event since 2002. About 600 scouts were expected to participate during today's salute. The salute began at sunrise and went until 8:00pm when the day closed with a candlelight vigil.
