In 2020, LaughFest was able to get started under pretty normal conditions, but after the first week everything had to be cancelled due to the coronavirus. Instead of cancelling or postponing the events for this year, the event will go virtual.

There are several fundraising events going on this weekend...from rappelling down the side of a building to walks and block parties. You can go back in time to the 80s or 90s, We have comedy, theater, Red Panda Day, the Symphony and a festival for Vegetarianism.

LaughFest 2016 is off to a hell of a start! This is my first LaughFest and so far it has been amazing! On Sunday night, I had the chance to see Marlon Wayans along with Deray Davis & Finesse Mitchell at the DeVos Performance Hall.

It's really hard to know where to even begin to start healing after such an event as the shootings in Kalamazoo. An entire community is grieving, and I cannot even imagine what it would be like to lose loved ones so suddenly, and to such senseless acts of violence. The nation’s first-ever festival of laughter, Gilda’s LaughFest, announced Wednesday that the event will return for its sixth season. LaughFest 2016 is scheduled for March 10 through March 20.
