As a former resident near one of the best boardwalks and beaches in the country, it is only right to explain why Michigan beaches are not up to par.

While digging holes is a fun time at the Michigan lakeshore, you may want to reconsider because it can get dangerous real quick.

When visitors come to Grand Rapids, there is plenty of attractions and events to go to. Here is a list of attractions that are must for out of town visitors to see.

Save yourself some gas money this summer and catch the free trolly and beach shuttles that will be driving around Grand Haven taking people to the beach.

Saturday night several people were swept off the south pier at Grand Haven State Park. Sunday, strong waves created dangerous currents leaving one person presumed drowned.

A fight got so big and out of control at Grand Haven State Park, this past Monday, that officials had to close down the park. WNEM says that the incident occurred around 7 p.m. on July 3rd when 8 to 10 different fights broke out, which was estimated to be around 300 people...

We enjoy Michigan's lakes and beaches all summer long.   Now that that things are cooling down (way too fast) it's time to take care of our wonderful resources.  This Saturday is the Grand Haven Beach Clean-up.
