Grand Haven is definitely a summer hot spot in West Michigan but unfortunately the pier won't be a part of it this summer. Beachgoers will get to enjoy the iconic Grand Haven Pier through mid-August this summer. After that, WZZM-13 reports, the pier will be closed through around July 17, 2017 for repairs.
