Joined at the mic(rophone) again are one of Channel 957's favorite duos ... Kid Rock and Sheryl Crowe! They performed live at the CMT Music Awards last night while sitting on a couple of bar stools.  Kind of the visual you get when you think of Kid, for sure!

While most of Taylor Swift's youngest fans are asking, "Thelma and who?", the rest of us immediately recognize the iconic characters portrayed by Taylor Swift and Shania Twain. Taylor and Shania were in Tennessee yesterday to film a parody of "Thelma and Louise" which will air during the CMT Music Awards on Wednesday, June 8. The parody will open the show which starts at  8pm. 

As the Facebook group says, "It Isn't Summer in Detroit without a Kid Rock C0ncert". In an announcement on Belle Isle this morning, Kid Rock announced he will play at Comerica Park on August 12th. Sammy Hagar will open the show. Tickets will go on sale Saturday June 11 at 10:00am.

Kid Rock hits the stage tonight at Van Andel Arena!  The show starts at 7:30p with opening act Jamey Johnson.  Also following Kid on his tour is his very own 'Bad Ass Beer', which will be for sale tonight at Van Andel Arena.  While taking pictures of his transportation, I counted 12 mac-trucks and 5 tour buses...

In advance of Tuesday night's show at Van Andel, Kid Rock played the first couple shows of the tour last Friday and Saturday in Saginaw. While not the star-studded affair that marked his Ford Field show, a lot of the same elements are expected as part of the Grand Rapids stop...

Kid Rock knows how to handle an audience and belts out an upcoming single from his new album, Born Free, at last night's 37th annual People's Choice Awards ceremony in Los Angeles.

Ahead of his sold out show at Van Andel Arena on January 25th, The Kid will appear on the People Choice Awards tonight,  playing "God Bless Saturday" from his new "Born Free" album. Show starts at 9 on Channel 3!

Rolling Stone recently released their 30 picks for the best albums of 2010.  Kid Rock showed up at #16 with his album 'Born Free'.  Taylor Swift appeared a few slots the better at #13 with 'Speak Now'.

Kid Rock's new album Born Free has debuted in the top spot on the Billboard Rock Albums chart this week. The album is Kid's eighth studio offering and follows 2007's Rock and Roll Jesus, which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart.

Kid Rock will perform at the 44th Annual CMA Awards, which airs live on ABC on November 10. The awards ceremony will take place at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.
