Get ready to stuff your face with Kielbasa. Coming up in September, local meat markets are competing in "Kielbasa Idol" in Grand Rapids!

Oh we feel so Festive! The Festival of the Arts is happening this weekend. There is also an Anime Convention, Movies, Comedy, Free Fishing, Princesses, a 5K, Kielbasa and Adult Laser Tag.

They will be celebrating the start of summer in Rockford! You have a couple of choices of where to watch movies this weekend -- along the river or on a ship. We have Baseball and Concerts, along with a Musical. There is a race and an Asian-Pacific Festival. You can help determine who has the best kielbasa in West Michigan, and there are even free bike helmets for the kids.

Get out and enjoy the nice summer weather. We have carnivals and festivals, food, music, fishing and more!

Last year, Kielbasa Idol debuted in Grand Rapids.  Over 700 people enjoyed 5,000 samples at the inaugural event.  That's over 500 pounds of kielbasa. This year's Kielbasa Idol expects to be even larger, while raising money for Steepletown Neighborhood Services to help assist with educational support, youth camps, and more.

Over 700 people gathered for 'Kielbasa Idol' at Fifth Street Hall in Grand Rapids on Saturday night to settle one the West Side's oldest debates:  Who has the best kielbasa? 'Kielbasa Idol' Co-chair Ed Sypniewski commented: It was absolutely phenomenal.  We had a line around the building that was longer than any Pulaski Days line we've ever had.
